This permanent role will work within the Command Systems (CS) team, and is integral to the conduct of essential governance functions of the Product Schedule management.  The position provides key support in an administrative capacity – organising meetings, booking rooms, managing documents, updating files and folder structure on Defence Corporate Records management system, liaison and some report writing.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop ILS aspects for RFI;
  • Perform governance management duties, including coordination and secretariat support for governance boards (Integrate Capability Management Forum, Integrated Capability Management Board, & Product Review Board, and recurring forums (Mission Planning Users Group, Resource Scheduling Users Group, and Air C2 Users Group).
  • Perform management and continual development of layout and data on the CS DRNet and DRN and DSN SharePoint (SP) sites.
  • Provide inputs and support to the Air Command Capability Framework and Sustainment Performance Management System reporting functions.
  • Support the development of key guidance artefacts, including CAF16 PdS (or equivalent) and Capability Management Plan.
  • Provide management of and input to the CAF16 5YR Capability Plan.
  • Develop corporate documents (Plans, Minutes, Briefs, presentations and similar).
  • Manage CS Visual Management Board.
  • Manage CS record keeping.
  • Provide coordination of scheduled activities within the Command System section.
  • Support the development of CAF16 business improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will have:

  • NV2 clearance;
  • Strong administrative skills;
  • High level skills with corporate tools such as Sharepoint, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and similar applications;
  • Broad understanding of modern networking, computers and operating systems.
