A 12 month contract seeking an experienced Project Manager to:
Review and confirm the scope of the Brigade Home Station Training (BHST) project, by confirming available resources and stakeholder coordination to deliver a pilot system for close combat simulation training effect at Training Level Standard 4 B (Bravo) across 1, 3 and 7 Brigades.
Coordinate Fundamental Inputs to Capability (FIC), project documentation and finances from multiple IIP projects to deliver and sustain the training effect, and
To execute the schedule and be accountable to Army Headquarters for the delivery of the training system.
Ideally you will have:
Project Management experience in complex projects spanning multiple years, preferably in Defence.
A knowledge of the Defence and Army organisation.
Demonstrated experience in working with multiple and diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in working with senior leadership and gaining project sponsorship.
Ability to work unsupervised to a strategic intent.
Experience in engineering solutions to training requirements.
Understanding and compliance with the WHS Act.
Experience in blended training systems desirable.
Experience in developing capability systems documentation.
Development and execution of a Test and Evaluation plan.
Negative Vetting 1 security clearance (Baseline applicants will be considered)
